Himali Children's Academy English Boarding School is situated in the historical and religious Zone Lumbini (The Sacred Birth Place of Lord Buddha), District Rupandehi, Butwal Municipality, Ward No.-6, Laxmi Nagar, established in the Academic Session 2041/42 under the able guidance of an able Principal, the Local Guardians, Social Workers and Educationists.

 
AIM of the School

Himali Children's Academy English Boarding School works at forming a community composed of Students, teachers, parents, management and other staff. This school: -

Rules
  1. Himali Children's Academy English Boarding School is a Co-Residential Cum Day School recognized by HMG.

  2. Children are admitted in NURSERY at the age of four and above.

  3. The medium of instruction is ENGLISH.

  4. The School hours begins at 10:00 and over at 4:00 pm Tiffin time is between 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm (for half an hour).

  5. All the students are required to wear proper school uniform implemented by the School while they come to School.

  6. Those students who come to school without proper uniform will be sent back home.

  7. If any student who remain absent for more than three months without any prior notice, their names will be struck off from the school rolls.

  8. Students are supposed to reach the School 15 Minutes before the assembling bell rings.

  9. Courses are English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, History, Geography, GK, PT Art, Computer Science and Craft.

  10. Extra Curricular Activities includes Nepali and English Quiz Contest, Debate, Spelling Contest, Football, Badminton, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Cultural Programme etc.

  11. Computer Education is included from Class II (Two) onwards.

Discipline
  1. Admission forms to Nursery and limited forms for other class are available only at the School Office from the month of Falgun (Feb/March) for the following academic session.

  2. The principal reserves to himself the right of admission of any Boy/Girl.

  3. Formal admission for Nursery is complete only after the application form has been submitted, admission is accepted and full fee is paid.

  4. The admission for other classes will be granted after 'ENTRANCE EXAMINATION' conducted by the School.

  5. No student will be admitted to school without accurate date of birth and a TC from the school last attended.

Admission
  1. The Students are expected to conduct themselves as smart boys/girls and in a manner befitting the tradition of "HIMALI CHILDREN'S ACADEMY ENGLISH BOARDING SCHOOL" at all times and in all places.

  2. The School insists on strict punctuality, regular school attendance and cleanliness in dress. General grooming and fidelity to study and work assignments.

  3. Care must be had for all school property. The student should take due care that furniture, and building are not damaged and dispelled.

  4. No books other than those required for school work may be brought to the school, Students are forbidden so bring crackers, explosives and any other dangerous and forbidden material to school.

  5. Money and other articles should not be lent or borrowed or exchanged.

  6. The school is not responsible for money and article lost. Parents are advised not to give their children items of value like expensive watches, gold ornaments, camera etc.

  7. Parents and guardians may not visit their son/daughter or sisters during class hours.

  8. Students are strictly forbidden to leave the school premises without the express permission of the principal.

Withdrawl
  1. For withdrawal of a student from the school, one calendar month's notice must be given in written by the parent, otherwise, a calendar month's fee will be charged.

  2. In the event of withdrawal of a student from the school, all dues must be cleared before the Transfer Certificate is issued.

  3. The school management, acting through the principal, will request the withdrawal pupil who is not able to cope with the academic standards of the school. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of home-work, harmful conduct. Grave insubordination, contempt of authority, any will-full damage to property and any act that lowers the discipline and moral of the school, all justify dismissal in the first instance.

Tests and Examinations
  1. The school conducts THREE TERMINAL EXAMINATION AND WEEKLY TESTS of major Subjects.

  2. Each Term Consists of 10 major subjects of weekly Tests form which 10% will be added to each major subject in Each Term.

  8. All the weekly Tests will be held every Friday.

  9. No students are allow to sit in the Examination without 'Admit Card'.

  10. Special arrangements can be made for those students who fail to appear any examination suffering form an infectious or contagious disease producing a doctor's certificate permitting him/her to rejoin class.

General Rules For The Boarder Students
  1. The children are admitted in this school as boarder student at the age of 5 and above.

  2. Once the student is admitted as boarder, he/she may not discontinue being boarder at the mid of session, if so his/her full one year boarder charge will be charged.

  3. Parents/Guardians are not allowed to meet their sons frequently.

  4. Parents/Guardians can visit or take their Son/Daughter on the last Friday of the month with the expressed permission from the principal and has to sign in VISITING REGISTER.

  5. Besides Parents/Guardians if any relatives those who are not known to the School authority are not allow to meet with boarder students without the recommendation letter from the concerning parents.

  6. If any boarder student fall ill. The School will bear the medical charge up to   Rs. 50/- and above Rs. 50/- or in serious case, either concerning parents will be informed to take such student home for the treatment or through school his/her treatment will be done and the doctor and medicines charge will be charged extra.

  7. Laundry charge, stationeries charge will be charged extra.

  8. The hostel materials like tooth paste, tooth-brush, shoe-polish, shoe-brush, hair oil etc are to be managed by the students. In case of failure, the school will provide such materials and charge its cost in his/her monthly bill.

  9. If any Parent/Guardian want to give their Son/Daughter some money or eatable things, such Parents/Guardians have to seek permission from the principal.

  10. The last date to pay the Monthly fee is on 10th of every month, after 10th Rs. 12/- will be charged per day as a late fee.
